Permission must be sought and obtained in writing from IWA Head Office before copying, re-printing or republishing material from  IWA's web sites for any purpose and especially for public distribution by whatever means (including other non-IWA web sites) unless the material and purpose is covered in one of the exceptions below.

"Material" includes html documents, PDF documents, photographs, graphics, logos, style sheets, scripts and data.

Exemptions:

PDF and html documents available on the sites may be printed and copied for personal or internal company, authority or other organisation use provided they remain intact and as published complete with all headers, footers and disclaimers (where appropriate).

Versions of the IWA logo are available from IWA Head Office for use when linking to IWA web sites. These graphics may be used only for the purpose of illustrating links and must remain un-cropped and unaltered in any way including colour and aspect ratio, except for resizing provided such resizing does not adversely affect the reproduction quality of the logo image. The text "The Inland Waterways Association" forms part of the logo and must not be removed or altered.

Note: The logo graphics on the web site must not be used for printed publications - please request print quality masters of the logos from IWA Head Office for this purpose.

Browsers

The majority of the IWA web site is produced using Microsoft FrontPage 2002 and is fully compliant with current W3C standards for HTML, XML and CSS style sheets.

Some sections of the site are produced by local regions, branches or groups and may differ from the main site in coding standards depending on the web editor used by the person producing the section concerned.

The site is fully tested with Internet Explorer 7.0 and Firefox and should also be fully functional in previous Internet Explorer releases (although it should be noted that IE 4.0 was somewhat bug ridden)

Usability testing is carried out with Netscape 7.0  ie; we try to ensure the site is fully usable but accept some moderate variation in layout and formatting.

All previous versions of Netscape are non-compliant with W3C standards particularly in regard to style sheet rendering and users of older versions of Netscape, as well as Internet Explorer 3.x users , may experience considerable difficulty with a growing number of web sites (IE3 had a partial and broken implementation of the then draft style sheet standards).

We make every effort to keep this site up to date, but regret we cannot guarantee total accuracy or availability of any item, due to changes in publication/reprint dates, withdrawal from a publisher’s list or unforeseen price changes. We will advise you (by e-mail if possible) in the event of any changes affecting your order, or if there is any delay in despatch of any item from your order. We try to send out orders within a two days of receipt, but please allow up to 21 days for delivery. If any item you order is needed for a gift or by a specific date, please check availability and delivery time with us before ordering.
