Browsers
The majority of the IWA
web site is produced using Microsoft FrontPage 2002 and is fully
compliant with current W3C standards for HTML, XML and CSS style sheets.
Some sections of the site
are produced by local regions, branches or groups and may differ from
the main site in coding standards depending on the web editor used by
the person producing the section concerned.
The site is fully tested
with Internet Explorer 7.0 and Firefox and should also be fully
functional in previous Internet Explorer releases (although it should be
noted that IE 4.0 was somewhat bug ridden)
Usability testing is
carried out with Netscape 7.0 ie; we try to ensure the site is
fully usable but accept some moderate variation in layout and
formatting.
All previous versions
of Netscape are non-compliant with W3C standards particularly in
regard to style sheet rendering and users of older versions of Netscape,
as well as Internet Explorer 3.x users , may experience
considerable difficulty with a growing number of web sites (IE3 had a
partial and broken implementation of the then draft style sheet
standards).
